A woman named Nellie Hurley wa.i today committed for trial on a charge of stealing a gold watch and chain value £25, and a pocket book containing £G. Duxedix, June 29.
The charge of libel brought by Albert Dornwell, butcher, against Straehan was dismissed, the Justices being unable to agree. Some anxiety is felt respecting the American barque J. D. Peters, for this port. She left New York on February 14, and is therefore 137 days out. Txsiabu, -June 29 A youth pained Waters was arrested on board the s.s.
