Adelaide, Deo 29 Tho cricket match Adelaide v Mr Vernon’s eleven, was resumed today. , The homo team had nino wickets down for 489 runs, playing one man short. This closed tho innings. Tho Englishmen then commenced their second innings, and had put together 52 runs without the loss of a wicket whon play was stopped, owing to tho visitors being unable to continue the match, they having to loavo for Melbourne in order to commence a match against combined Australia on Saturday. Tho local match was declared drawn.
