J The Bluff Haibor Board, iureorgauiaing thu st;.ff. asjain employed all the former members with the exception of tlie Harbormaster, Captain Tyson, who did not apply, and a:,other, jL : hoy, who was plot of the Poit in early days and has lately been signalman, retires, and Pilot M'Donald takes his place. The now men provisionally selected but m t jet confirmed are—Norman M'Donald, fr st officer G.s.s. Stella, as Harbormaster ; W. H. Paterson, second officer U.S.S. Ch.’s Tukaki, as Chief Pilot. The Boa:d abandoned the proviso that eandidatt s should not be over 40 years, and also the stipulation that applicants should bo holders of certain certificates. Had tho Board kept to their original resolutions as advertised, nearly all the former would have been inelligible.
