Riots in St. Petersbary.
Per Electric. Tr.ict-rnph — Copyrif/Id KKUTK H’ S T ELKG HAMS. I Deceived 27, U p.m. Sr Petek my im. Dec 28. After often - expressed protests against the vexatious rules imposed upon them, the students of iSt Petersburg University appealed to the citizens for support in resisting the troops. Grave disorders have also occurred in connection with the Military Academy the Micluml College and the School of Forestry, all of which have been closed by the authorities. Numerous arrests have been made, and all the Universities throughout the country, with the exception of that of the JCieff, have been closed for similar reasons. Later. Fresh disorders have occurred in this city, and tiie Students’ University have appealed to His Majesty the Czar against the rules imposed upon them. The Minister of Education lias tendered Iris resignation in consequence of the appeal. General Beliweiiiitz, German Ambassador, has taken a peaceful message from the Czar to Prince Bis mark.
