Tuc race may he rowed or sailed, as the case may be,according to the accepted laws of boat racing in England. 2. That all owners of boats entering for the Regatta must be subscribers of not less than ten shillings to the funds. 3. The sailing course will be from the wharf round Mabel Island and back, leaving all marks on the port hand. Twice round will be twice round the same course.

4. In the rowing races Mabel Island to be left on the port hand. 5. Two boats to start for eaeli event or no race, and three or no second prize. 6. The Regatta Committee will ballot for places for all boats, and such boats must take the places allotted to them. Post entries will be placed in the order entered and after prior entries, 7. bailing boats will start f.oin anchor with head sails down. S. Protests will not be received unless in writing, and accompanied with a deposit of 10s, which will be returned if protest allowed, and forfeited if not. No protest will be received after the day of the race, and the deeisian of the Regatta Committee will be final. 9. In Handicap Races each boat to start when told to do so by the starter and no handicaps will be announced beforehand. Any bo t called back by the starter on accouunt of a false start will not be allowed to start until after the last boat. 10. The Regatta Committee will have the right to disqualify any boats for an infringement of any regulation. 11. Each competing boat must carry a distinguishing flag. 12. The Regatta Committee appointed for the day will reserve the right to alter i the order or postpone any race if it considers it necessary. 13.
