SPORTING.

[Notes by Soiiet.] At Riveilauds on id mday morning Orient sent the bah rolling by putting in about two and a half miles in real good form. I never saw the little equine wonder looking better. Barosma went twice round at about half pace, moving off a little sore, but warmed up after going about half a mile. Jim, with his owner in the saddle, and Doncaster, with Herd up, proceeded to negotiate the hurdles; Doncaster jumped very much tho best, and appeared to be making the pace as warm as Jim liked it until about one and three-quarter miles had been covered, when Doncnstir fell over one of the jumps, severely injuring his elbow, wh;"h will prevent his tal ng part in the aproaching meeting. Swordsman, Agatha, Tui, Cassandra, and Waipiro also worked. On Tuesday Jim and Orient in company did two circuits in grand style ; there was not much to choose iu them. Barosma and Swordsman iu company went twice round at nearly their best pace. Aga”ia and others did unimpoitant work. On Wednesday Jim and Baiosma went twice rouud in company at about half pace, Tui doing a fine mile ; and Sweetie and Cassandra went twice round at he'f pace. Waipiro was treated to similar work.
