Tho Legislative Assembly sat nb last night, and only rose at one o’clock this afternoon. The subject of debate was tho Public Service Amendment Bill, which measure the Government wore forced to abandon. Mr M. B. Hawke, cricketer, (now Baron Hawke), will leave for England in the Orient Company’s Ormuz to-morrow.
