Judgment was given in the Court of Queen’s Bench last week in tho action brought by Haslam and Co. against Ha’’ and Co. for alleged infringement of their
patents relative to tho refrigerating macb'ne. The matter is of considerable importance to New Zealand, as Tyscr and Co.’s new line of steamers use Hall’s macl'nes. Very contradictory messages have been received as to the tenor of tho judg .nent. Shaw Sav llle’s agent has lad a cable message si)' lg that Haslam won the action, but Mr Dobson of this town has received the fo’lowing contradictory message Haslam action not yet decided. Further arguments necessary.
