MAIL NOTICES

Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Blenheim, as under: — Friday, May TO. For Wellington, North and South Ports, Australian Colonies &c., also Supplementary mails for United Kingdomd’c, via San Francisco per ss, Maitai at 9.30 a.m. For Pieton— Twice daily, at 930 a.m and 3.15 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. The Post office will lie closed, being the Queen’s Birthday The Telegraph Branch will open from 9 a.m. till 10 a.m., and from 7 p.m. till 8 p m., and the Telephone Exchange will he open as usual from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. All mails generally despatched on Tuesday will close on Monday evening, 23rd inst., at 8 p.m., and there will on that evening he a delivery from 7 till 8 p,m., of correspondence generally taken out by the letter carrier.
