Sydney, Tuesday A girl aged seventeen recently reported to the police that nn the 25th December, while proceeding home along Cook V Diver Road, she was set upon by a number of men who dragged her into an omnibus shed, where she was criminally assaulted by seven of them. The police last night at rested live men on the charge of cominitt'ng the outrage. Tuesday Another arrest has been made in connection with the outrage committed on a girl, on Cook's River , Road at Newtown Received Jan 11, at 10.5 p.m. Sydney, Tuesday. Sir Patrick Jennings tender'd his resignation as a member of the 1 Ministry to the Governor tc-day. He explained that his principal reason for taking this step is the insubordination disp : ayed by Mr Dibbs to the Premier. Nothing will be known for two or three i days as to the possible recoastrue- 1 tion ol the Ministry. Two more deaths through small- j P° x _ occurred at the quarantine i station, where, however no fresh oases are reported. ’
