(Per United Press Associa'ion.) Wellington, June 15, At the Divorce Court the case of Wright v, Wright was taken. This was a petition by Mary Jane Wright for judicial separation from Henry Charles Clarke Wright, manager of the Wellington Meat Preserving Company, on the ground of his adultery with one Mary Keeley, a married woman. Respondent pleaded that petitioner had committed adultery with one Henry Parkes, and that there was a deed of separation in existence, which was a bar to the present proceedings. After one witness was examined, counsel for the respondent iVirnuted that he would proceed no furcher" with the counter charge of adultery, and was willing that a verdict should be recorded in the petitioner’s favor on that count. By His Honor’s direction, the jury brought in a verdict for the pe i'ioner on the ninth count, relating to the alleged adultery with Frank Parkes. An adjournment was asked for to enable a witness, dow in Napier, to attend. The case wis adjourned until to a morrow to enable counsel to file an affidavit as to the evidence to be given. Mr Johnson, of Berwpk. was severely injured while following the hounds on Saturday, and is still unconscious. Hu feil at a fence, and a rider, who was following, jumped on him, The Minister of Public Works has intimated that no more relief works will be provided for the unemployed, Numbers of small contracts will be let, provision being made for employing the men at pre«ent on the relief works. In the case of ihe men refusing this the Gcf srnment will cot further employ them.
