ROCKY DOWNS CLUB. Scores in Teams Match. , All players competing in the teams match played an 18-hole medal round on Saturday. Ten teams, each consisting of a senior and a junior man and a senior and a junior ,lady, competed. This competition is very interesting, as few strokes separate the teams. PUTARURU v. ROCKY DOWNS. The Putaruru and Rocky Downs clubs played an inter-club match at Putaruru during the week-end, Rocky Downs winning by 8 matches to 6. Weather conditions were perfect and the links were in better condition than in previous years. Men played four-ball, best-ball matches, while the ladies played singles. ROCKY DOWNS CLUB. The Moore-Jones Shield will be competed for by all members next week-end. This competition is an 18-hole foursome bogey and is one of the club’s most interesting matches.
