ROCKY DOWNS CLUB. Two competitions were played during the week-end. A nine-hole field medal handicap was won by H. Keeley, 42—7, 35, with H. Buckley, 51—15, 36, ruunerThe 18-hole medal handicap resulted in J. Corbett, R. Mentiplay and H. Buckley tieing. Corbett won the play off. The cards were : J. Corbett, 84—12, 72 ; R. Mentiplay, 89— 17, 72 ; H. Buckley, 102—30, 72 ; H. Keeley, 87—14, 73 ; F. Hutchison, 78—4, 74.

WAHAROA CLUB. The Bryce Cup tournament was concluded on Saturday and was won by J. F. Wells, of Matamata, who did the two best rounds out of three. Wells’ card was 90 and 94, while the runner-up, W. Casey, took 92 and 94. In a ladies’ competition for the Blyth trophy, Miss McGehan, Matamata, won with 55? and 55. Mrs. J. F. Wells, Matamata, was runner-up with 56 and 56, while Miss E. D. Bell, Matamata, was third.
