HUNGAHUNGA DRAINAGE BOARD. i RATES, 1928-29. Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 54 o;f “ The Rating Act 1925 ” that it is the intention of the Hungahunga Drainage Board at its Meeting to be held in its Office,* Whitaker Street, Te Aroha, on SATURDAY, the 10th day of NOVEMBER, 1928, at 11 a.m., to make and levy under Section 31 of “The Land Drainage Act 1908,” and Sections 3 and 4 of “ The Land Drainage Amendment Act 1913,” a General Rate upon the unimproved value and upon a graduated scale according to classification of land within the several subdivisions of the Hungahunga Drainage District as follows: — Within the Manawaru and Central Waihekau Subdivisions.—-Upon lands classified A lid, upon lands classified B lid, and upon lands classified C Id. Within the Wairere, Piraunui, North Waihekau,, South Waihekau and Waiwhero Subdivisions. —Upon lands classified A 2d, upon lands classified B 12d, and upon lands classified C lid. All per pound upon the rateable value for the period commencing on the Ist day of April 1928 and ending on the 31st day of March 1929, and payable in one sum to the Clerk to the Board on the 26th day of NO-' VEMBER 1928 at the Board’s Office, Whitaker Street, Te Aroha. The Rate Books and Rating Rolls are now open for inspection of Ratepayers at the Office of’- the Board during office hours.
