Reform Committee. A meeting of the Tirau Reform committee was held on Thursday afternoon, those present being: Messrs. • J. W. Anderson, G. W. Seton, A. Stewart, P. Dee and T. Bottomley. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs. Frank Rose, Alf. Totman, W. Sutcliffe, A. Pemberton and W. Watkins. Messrs. J. W. Anderson and G. W. Seton were unanimously elected president and secretary respectively. The main business of the meeting was to appoint representatives for all parts of the district to further the interests of the party’s candidate, Mr. F., F. Hockly, M.P. for Rotorua. The following were appointed: Messrs. J. W. Anderson, John Nicholson Leslie Hancock, P. Dee, Robt. Carruth, J. McLaren, A. J. Davis, G. W. Seton, A. Stewart, T. Bottomley, John Allen W. Main, J. Lake and F. Rose.
