Law Comes Out
In an attempt to bring law out into the community, the Neighbourhood Law Office based in Grey Lynn is giving you the chance to find out What are your legal rights? Every Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. skilled people in the legal field will be at the Grey Lynn Citizens Advice Bureau to speak on topics requested by people in the community. This week, on Thursday May 4th, Rhys Harrison — an Auckland lawyer will talk about Legal Aid. Areas to be covered will be: 1. the difference between barristers and solicitors 2. legal aid schemes 3. duty solicitors 4. offenders legal aid 5. matrimonial cases 6. Citizens Advice Bureau free legal aid services 7. Neighbourhood Law Office Come Along, Listen, Comment . . . What are your legal rights? Thursday night at 510 Richmond Rd, Grey Lynn, Robert Ludbrooke will be taking legal rights session on Social Welfare, maintenance. This is a Neibhourhood Law office Community Project.
