TEN FARMS FOR SERVICEMEN BALLOTS TO BE HEId Ten more farm units in the Wellington Land District aro shortly to be made available by ballot to ex-service-men intending to settle on the land, states the Rehabilitation Department. Pour of the sections are in what is known as the Kereru Farm Settlement, between Shannon and Levin. They are open to eligible ex-servicemen of the war just past who have been graded “A” for dairying (in the case of three sections) and for dairying with sheep (in respect ,of the fourth section) for the Manawatu district. Most of the land is flat to easy rolling country. There is a dwelling on one of the sections and the others will be similarly provided for in the programme of improvements.
