QUEENSTOWN BOWLING CARNIVAL

With, the completion of the successful bowling carnival, the final event being the rink tournament under the auspices of the Wakatipu Bowling Club, Mr J. Clark. of Christchurch, paid special tribute to the valued services of Mr J. Nisbet of Dunedin, in regard to the organisation of' the Christmas and New Year tournaments. Ho installed Mr Nisbet with the collar and jewel of his office, the collar being manufactured in Queenstown and consisting of biscuits with 1 atemta consisting of biscuits with metal attachments. The recipient, in a happy speech, acknowledged the honour, and with cheers from the visiting bowlers the 19-15-46 tournament passed into gloried history.
