Mr Jas. Dennison of Lake. Hayes mot with a very painful accident last Saturday morning. While heading on the property of Mr Houston ho was making some adjustment to his header when he had the misfortune to get his hand caught between the belt and the pulley, necessitating the amputation of four lingers of his right hand. Mr Dennison ivas immeditaely taken to the Frankton hospital. He is under the care of Dr Anderson and it was reported on Wednesday that ho was progressing favourably. Among wreaths which were deposited on the grave of the late Mr George Hanson wore tributes sent from the W.D.F.U., R.S.A., Mayor and Counsillors of Borough of Arrowtown, staff and children of Public School and the staff of W. B. Gibb, Ltd.
