Pte. H. E. Pittaway is home on Christmas leave.

Miss Gwen Thompson of Invercargill is home with her parents, Mr and Mrs E. L. Thompson, for the holidays. Mr Geo, Kavanaugh returned home last Thursday evening after spending his annual holiday in Invercargill. Mr and Mrs J. H. Ingrim returned to Arrow on Wednesday evening after touring Invercargill, Wendon, Dunedin and Oamaru. Mr and Mrs Campbell and daughter Dallis, of Dunedin, are spending the Christmas holidays with Mr and Mrs John Eeid, Reidhaven. Mr and Mrs M. Warhurst and Miss Helen Baird, Alexandra, were present at the farewell to Mrs Douglas on Friday evening last. Mr Keith Eeid arrived home on Friday morning for the Christmas vacation. Master lan and Gart Harvey of Cromwell are spending a holiday with Mr and Mrs J. Henderson. Sgt. A. Harvey is spending his Xmas leave as the guest of Mr and Mrs G. H. Hansen. Mrs Harvey resumed work in the Arrow- post office last week. A.C.2 ’ Jas. Palton is home on leave with his parents, A.G.I Joe Fitzpatrick, accompanied by his sister Josie, are visitors to Arrow for a few days. A.S. Staff-Sergeant Chas. Henderson and his neice, Yalmai Hamilton, left for Glenorchy on Wednesday.
