On a recent evening: a largre number of Crown Terrace residents assembled at the residence of Mrs J .F, Dennison for the purpose of making (her a presentation prior to her leaving: Crown Terrace to reside in Arrowtown.. On behalf of Crown Terrace people Mr A V. Miller presented Mrs Dennison with an eiderdown quilt and in doing so expressed best wishes for her future happiness- Mrs Dennison suitably returned thanks. The ladies provided supper, and a pleasant evening was spent with, song and games. . Mr W. Mutter, of Rangoon, is spending a holiday with his brother, Mr R, W. Mutter, Arrowtown. Lieut. J. G. Macpherson, who spent a few days leave in Arrowtown last week, returned to Burnham on Friday last. Corporals C. Henderson and H. Smith who have been training at the territorial camp at Addington, arrived home on Saturday to spend a fortnight’s leave with thedr parents in Arrowtown. Mrs A. B. Hamilton, Luggate, spent the week-end with her parents, Mir and Mrs J. Henderson., Arrowtown 1 .
