Stronach, Morris and Co., Ltd., report for week ending, 28th September as follows . Fat Sheep.—2 Bos were penned, mostly good quality. There was good competition and prices were about the same as at last sale. Best wethers, 22s Od to 255, medium 18s 6d to 21s 6d, light 15s 6d to 17s 6d, best ewes 15s to 17s, extra to 21s, medium to good 125,6 d to 15s, light 14s Od to 15s Od. Fat Lambs —There was only 27 yarded and sold at from 16s 9d to 265. lat Cattle.—Large yarding, consisting of medium quality. Prices were fully up to last week's rates. Best Bullocks, £ll 0s to .£l2 13s, extra to ,£l6 os, medium to good .£9 10s to .£lO 10s, inferior £6 to £B, best cows and heifers £8 to £ll2s, extra to wfilO 15s, Od medium £l lO3 to .£8 10s, inferior .£5 10s to £6 10s. Pigs.—There was a very large yarding and prices for suckers and slips showed an advance on last weeks values. Quotations: Suckers 6s Od to 10s,.slips 14s Od to 18s Od, stores 19s to 22s 6d, porkers 27s to 335, light baconers 35s to 425, heavy do 46s to 555, choppers to 659. Eabbitskins.—We again offered a very large catalogue when competition was. keener and prime winters showed a slight decline on last sale. Quotations : Selected winter does i 38d to 32|d, good 32H to 38d, prime winter bucks IBd to 21} d, early winters 17id to 18d, incomings 15d to 17d, medium to good 16d to 19d, autumns 13d to 15d, outgoing 17d to 22d, racks 9 dto winter blacks 30d to 33d, autumn blacks 14d to fawns 12d to 15£ d, summer blacks to 15d, shocks 3d, horse hair to 19d.

Sheepskins.—At our sale to-day we offered a large catalogue. Best a-bred 8 to 9gd, medium 7Jd to Bd, best fine x-bred 7*d to 9d, coarse x-bred 6£d to 7Jd, best pelts 4d to s£d, medium 3d to 4Jd, inferior Id to 2d, best merino 7£d to Bd, medium to good 4Jd to 6d ; best lambskins 7d to B^d.

Hides.—We held our fortnightly sale on Thursday, 15th inst., when we submitted a large catalogue. Quotations.—Prime stout heavy ox hides 7jd to BJd, good heavy do. 6£d to 6:} d, medium weight sjd to 6fd, light weight s|d to 6£d, inferior 3}d to sd, best heavy cow hides ofd tc JI, medium weight to 6Jd, light weight 6d to tijd. inferior do. 4d to sd, yearlings 4|d to 6jd, calfskins 6|d to 9d.

Tallow and Fat.—There is an exceptionally good demand and prices show a flight rise\ the same as at last week's report. Oats.—Quotations : Prime milling Is to Is lid; good to best feed Is 9d to Is 10id, inferior to medium Is 7d to Is BJd per bushel (sacks extra.) Wheat.—There is nothing doing and owing to the further drop in flour in Australia we are afraid prices will come further back here. Prime milling 3s 6d to 3s Bd, medium to good 3s 4d to 3s sd, fowl wheat 3s Id to 3s 3d, medium to good 2s 9d to 3s, broken and damaged 2s to 2s 6d per bushel (sacks extra.) % Chaff.—Large supplies are coming forward and prices show little change. Prime oaten sheaf is in demand but medium and discolored are hard of sale. Potatoes.—Prime up-to-dates £7 12s 6d to £7 71s, extra to <£B Os 6d, medium £7 to £7 10s, inferior and damaged £6. Straw.—Wheaten 22s to 24s Od, oaten 35s per ton (pressed.) Turnips —lss to 17s 6d per ton loose. OOBE HOBSE BAZAA*. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report as follows We held our weekly horse sale as usual in the above yards on Saturday before a large gathering of town and country buyers. The entry being rather small did not bring forward any real first-class animals, and considering the class of horses that came in, we had a very successful sale, selling all of the draughts and most of the light horses at advanced market prices. We also sold a quantity of second hand harness and horsecorers at market rates. The demand for horses at the present is very keen, and any clients with surplus horses en hand should not hesitate in sending them in for sale. We are holding another of our special sales on Saturday, Bth October, and would be pleased to receive entries. McXAT BBOS.' BEFOBT. Messrs McKay Bros, report the following sales for the week ending Saturda> : Poultry.—Hens, 2s Id to 2s 7d j roosters, Is 8d to 2s Id; ducks, 2s Id to 2s 3d.
