GORE HORSE BAZAAR. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd.,

report:— We held our weekly sale at the above yards on Saturday before a fairly good attendance. The entry was small, only some 20 horses being forward, as the result of our special sale being held only a fortnight previous. The entry consisted mostly of aged and inferior sorts, which are very hard to dispose of. The following are some of the prices realised—Bay gelding, 6 yrs., £3l; bay mare, 7 yrs., .£24; bay gelding, 7 yrs., .£25; bay mare, Byrs., £2O 10s. Inquiries are constantly being made for young upstanding spring-carters suitable for dairy and town work, and prices realised for this sort range from £ls to £l9. There is also a strong demand for hacks.
