Wheat. —We quote prime milling new seasons 4s 9d good whole fowl wheat 4s 3d to 4s 4d.

Oats —Milling 2i 6d B grade 2s id, inferior 2s 21, ex store sacks extra. Barley—Oood malting from 4s 61 to ss, pearling, 4i feed barley 3s 6d to 3s 9d. Ryecorn.—3s 9d. to 4i. Maize—ss 6d. Prussian Blue Peas from 6s to 6s 6d per bushel ; partride peas to 4». Chaff—Prime bright heavy to £4 10s; inferior £3 sacks extra.

Turnips—3os (bags in.) Carrots— 50j to 603 per ton.

Clover Hay.—£4 10s. Ryegrass—New seed Farmers dressed 3s 3d to 3s 6d, for heavy weights machined 4s 6d to ss. Cocksfoot.—Market remains strong. Farmers' lots to 7d ; machined seed 9d to 101.

Horsehair.—There is a good demand for all classes especially clean hair, which is quoted 17d to 18d, mixed HI to 16id. Stoking (Jbai.x.—We are prepared to store, receive, deliver and insure for three months free storage at 3d per sack. Farm produck and fruit.—We receive all kinds of consignments and render account sales promptly. Walnuts.—4|d to sd. Pigs.—Baconrrs up to 1701b per lb, over weights 31 to 4d.

Poultrv fr export: Hens 2to 33; roosters 4s to 53, ducks 3a to 4s, 6d geese 4s to ss, turkey hens 5d gobblers to Bd. No railage to pay if consigned to r ouitry depot.

Stronach, Morris and Co, Ltd., report for week euded 26th May, as follows : Fat Sheep.—2lß7 penned. Bidding was brisk and prices showed an advance of about Is per head for best quality wethers and ewes, whilst .medium to good were firm at late rates. Best wethers brought from 20s to 22s 9d, extra prime to 26s 3d, good 17s 6d to 19s, light and inferior 13s 9d to 15s, best ewes 14s to 15s 91, extra to 22s 9d, medium ip good 12s to 13s 6d.

Fat lambi.—There was a \ a'ding of 1468. Best lambs brought from 14s 6d to 16s 6d, extra to 18s, medium to good 13s to 143, liaht 9s to Us.

Fat cattle.—There was a medium yarding of 193 forward, and as there were very few prime cattle penned thesa sold very firm at late rates. Best bullocks brought from £lO 10s to £l2 7s 6d, exlra to £l3 7s 61; good £8 10s to £9 15s, light £6 10s to £7 10s, small £3 10s to £4 10s, best cows and heifers £7 10s to £8 7s 6d, good £5 10s to £6 10s, light £3 to £4.

Pigs—l2s yard-d. At the beginning of the sale ptiees for porkers and baconers were t,ot so good &s last week, but improved towards the end. There was practically no d msnd for small pigs, and these sold at a big declii eon late rates. Suckers brought from 93 to i2i, Blips fiom 13i 61 to 15s, stores 18s to 25-t, pirkers 34s to 435, light baconers 45s t) 50.-, heavy 53s to 5Ss, choppers to 635. Rabbitskins—We held our usual fortnightly sale on the 26th inst. when we submitted a medium catalogue to a large attendance of buyers. Bidding was very brisk and showed an advanoe on late rates. Crossbreds aud J-bieds showed a rise from Jd to Id per lb. Best J-bred 5d to shd, medium to good 4d to 4£d, best lambskins from 4|d to s£d, medium 3f I to 4id, best merino to 4}d, good 3gd to 4d. Hides—Our next sale will be held on Thursday 28th inst.

Wheat.—Owing to the price of flour being reduced £1 per ton the wheat market has quieted down very considerably and then: is very little business being done. Fowl wheat meets with good demand as it is not plentiful. Quotations. Prime milling 4s 8d to 4s 9.1 ; medium to good 4s 6£d to 4s 7Jd ; best fowl wheat 4s 6d to 4s 7d ; inferior and broken 3s 61 to 4s 2d. Oats.—Quotations.—Seed lines are worth 2s 6dto2s 9d, prime milling 2s s£d to 2s 6d, good to best feed 2s 4Jd to.2s s£d, inferior to medium 2s 2d to 2s 3£d. Chaff. —Medium and inferior lots are very difficult to dispose of. Prime oaten sheaf is £3 17s 6d to £4, medium to good £3 10s to £3 los, light and iuferior £2 17a 61 to £3 5s per ton.
