The above sports, which were postponed on account of wet weather, were held, last Tuesday when the committee were more fortunate in respect of weather, the day being perfect The entries were good and the meeting was a very successful one throughout A very close contest was witnessed in the tug-of-war, but Hamilton's team eventually carried off the prize.
