E. Stevens' application for an extended claim in Rees Gorge was adjourned, and an application for residence area was granted. D. M 'Donald.—An application for water-race at the 12-mile. Granted, the original license to be cancelled.
J. M'Cheaney.—Water-race from Curry's Creek to Amphitheatre Terrace, branches. Upper Shotover. Granted.
T. G. Pearce.—An extended claim of one acre, oppaite the Pliceirix battery. Grauted. m&*' W. Gumming*.—Application for an agricultural lease. Upper Shotover. Mr Adair, of Survey Office, said he believed the ground waa auriferous, and that one Duncan inten led to lodge an objection. The case whs adjourned, »inr <iit, for survey, etc. Michael Brown and another.—Prospecting area, Upper Shotover. Granted. \V. Birse and J. Gray's applications for extended claims and tail-races at Tucker Beach were granted. Roliert Klliott wss granted a residence area north of Cemetery Reserve, Glenorchy, on condition thst he kept outside of the town boundary, j T. G. Pearce's adjourned application for waterrace mar Maori Point was granted, on condition that it did uot interfere with the County road.
