THE THOROUGHBRED HORSE ARCHITECT, WILL TRAVEL THIS SEASON IN THE DUN ST AX & CROMWELL DISTRICTS, AND WILL STAND AT MOUNT PISA STATION. mHIS THOROUGH BRED HORSE is a rich bay J with black points, stands over sixteen hands, and shows great substance and quality ; was bred by John Field, Esq., of Calstock, Tasmania, imported by J. B. Curran. Architect is half brother to the " Quack," winner of the Mellwnrne fop; and half-brother to " Benvolio," winner of Sydney Derby. Architect took First Prize at Campbelltown, Melton Mowbray, and Northern Agricultural Shows in Tasmania, and First Prize at Blueekin Show. His oldest stock in Tasmania are three years old, and show great breeding and size; said to be the best horses in the island of Tasmania. Pedigree.—Architect by " Peter Wilkins," imported, dam "Governess," imported; "Peter Wilkins" by the " Flying Dutchman," out of " Boarding School Miss," by " Plenipotentiary," out of "Marpessa," dam of " Pocahontas," "Stockwell's " dam. " Peter Wilkins "is own brother to " Rose de Florence," dam of " Ferryman," " Fenelln," and " Maribynong " ; also half-brother to "Rose Bonheur" and "Typee," the dams of some of the best horses in England. ON AND AFTER THE 28TH INSTANT, ' TO TRAVEL THIS SEASON IN THE QUEENSTOWN & ARROW DISTRICTS, THE CLYDESDALE ENTIRE HORSE LORD PAISLEY. T ORD PAISLEY was bred by John Parr, Esq., Clutha ; is a lieautirul black, and Btands 17 hands high, with great action and good symmetry. His sire, " Lord Paisley," was imported from Scotland by Robert Miller, Esq., Taieri, in 1864, and obtained the second prize at Dunedin Show the same year. Dam, the mare Blanch, was imported by David Nesbitt, Esq., from Tasmania, who took the first prizes at the several Societies' Shows—viz., Bunedin, Taieri, Tokomairiro, and Clutha—for the beet mare of symmetry in the yard. Lord Paisley gained the first prize at the Clutha Show in 1868, and the first prize at Tokomairiro the same year, for the best turce-ycar old colt of his age. He also ootamed the silver medal at the Tokomairiro Show in 18C9 for the test Colonial hone in the yard, and he has prcved himself a sure stock getter. TERMS £4. Groom's Fees, 55., to be paid at first service. A 20-acre Paddock of English grass, for mares at • distance, 2a 6d per week. All care taken but without responsibihty.
