$ YOUTH’S SUICIDE. [Per Press Association.] ‘ BLENHEIM, December 22. A youth of nineteen years, named Darcy Lcn M'Manaway, committed suicido on Saturday at Havelock suburb, by hanging himself. Nq details are available. FATAL COLLISION AT A CROSSING. PAIIIATUA, December 22. A railway crossing fatality occurred at Mangamaire, a few miles .south of Pahiatua, to-day, when tho express from Wellington crashed into a cart 1 driven by Allan Amos Roil (18), son of a well-known loci! farmer. Roil, who was gravely injured, was brought to Pahiatua, but died en route. Tho horse was killed and tne cart smashed. GUNSHOT WOUND. C. Honiwell, an orderly at the Cashmere Hills Military Sanatorium, aged twenty, was out rabbit shooting yesterday morning when he tumbled over a rock and his gun was accidentally discharged, wounding him in tho left foot. He was admitted to the Christchurch Military Hospital.
