UNSEASONABLE WEATHER.

RIVERS IN FLOOD. [Per Press Association.] OPOTTKI, October 6. A storm which commenced on Friday night continued yesterday and at 3 p.m. the wind suddenly changed to north-east. Rain continued, with a strong gale. Tho Waioka and Otawa rivers both overflowed their banks last night and flooded the lpwlying areas. No losses of stock are reported so far. 'Hie rain ceased this morning and it is not likely that the rivers will rise any higher.
