LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. [Peh Press Association.] AUCKLAND, October 2. Owing to the wet weather, tho inter-island match at the ladies'' golf tournament was abandoned. The second handicap bogey match was played, and resulted as follows: —Miss Snodgross (Otago), handicap 8, one down, first; Miss Crow.ther (Auckland), handicap 11, three down, second. An additional prize was won by Miso Clendon (Thames), handicap 14, five down. The semi-finals for the Now Zealand championship will bo played to-morrow, as follows:—Miss Wright (Timaru) plays Mrs Dargaville (Auckland); Miss Payton (Auckland) plays Miss Gambrill (Wellington). RICHMOND HILL CLUB. The lady members of tho Richmond Hill Golf Club played a soolod handicap yesterday, Mrs Mcnlove returning tho best score, while Mrs Stoveno and Mrß M'Clatchie wore the runners-up. Tho final bogey match was also played yesterday between the winners of the bogey matches throughout tho season. Mrs Monlove, Mrs Stevens, Miss I. M'Dowell and Mrs Hamilton wero the competitors, Mrs Menlove being the winnor by a narrow margin.
