Tho President is given to understand from the White House that the situation in regard to the ratification of the Peace Treaty is much improved, and is assured by friends of tho Treaty that they now believe ratification possible without reservations or amendments. SENATE TO VOTE ON ALL AMENDMENTS. o (Received October 2, 7.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, October 1. The Senate has decided to take in immediate vote on all amendments to the Peace Treaty.
