There waa much inquiry for colonial cross-breds by Yorkshire manufacturers, who fear that the Government may compel them to take aomo English wcol at the Government price. The following prices wero realised for fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named:—Kumukumu, top 20Jd, aveiago 10id; Wharamu, top 21Jd, average 19Jd. Tho last sale of the eoventh eeries will clo*e on October 0, unlimited catalog. The 'ast rcrics of the year has been fixed lor December 6, with a limit. At tho tallow gj'os 1188 casks were offered, sellers acoepting about 2s reduction and 664 <yisks wero sold. Mut.on and b:ef tallow, fine, aro quoted at 46s Cd, medium 435. MINING SHARES.
