FORECAST FOR CANTERBURY. Moderate to fresh north-east winds. Fine ■weather, with wajm and sultry conditions prevailing-, but probably somewhat cloudy ind changeable at times along the coast. F. L. WOOLES. DOMINION FORECAST. Dominion Meteorologist's summary and forecast:— Moderate to strong easterly breezes have ruled, but gales have continued with squally •weather north of Auckland. Fair to cloudy conditions have predominated elsewhere. Present indications are for strong easterly ■winds, backing to northerlies, warm and humid conditions, increasing haze and cloudiness, with rain following shortly in northern, "West Coast and southern districts, and barometer falling everywhere.
