WHEAT. By Telegraph—Pross Association—Copyright. LONDOK*, January 26. The American visible supplies of wheat total 170,317,000 bushels. Chicago May options are quoted «t. 132? cents to 136| cents, July 124 i cents to 126 g cents. TALLOW.

At the tallow sales 602 casks were offered and 115 were sold. Prices are unchanged.

LONDON WOOL SALES.

The following cable message has been received by Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Christchurch, from their London office, dated January 26:—"Wool sales continue animated. As compared with December sales, <rood combing merinoes are. 10 per cent. dearer, short faulty are fully 5 per cent dearer, fino cross-bred are 7| per cent dearer, and medium and coarse are 7?j to 10 per cent dearer. Sixty-fours are costing 3s 8d to 45."
