At tho Theatre Royal last night a large audience was willingly carried back to the days of romance, guided right skilfully by " Dorothy Vernon of Haddon Hall." Miss Nellie Stewart agan scored a personal triumph, ■ although suffering from a very bad throat. She was well supported by tlia members of the company. The play will be presented again to-night. k .j To-morrow Miss-Stewart will be seen in the ever popular " Sweet Nelli of Old Drury." In no part that >he has ever played has ?'.: Miss Stewart appeared to greater, advantage than in ''Sweet Noll."
