AKAROA.. -.- The Aknroa County Council met at Duvaucheilo on Saturday; present— Messrs E. Hay (chairman), T. Conway, 0. B. Thacker and J. R. Thacker. It was decided to take no action in a case of a breach of the motor by-law which prohibits motors travelling on tho roads at night, as the offence was committed owing to an invalid. being ordered to Christehurch for an immew diate operation..
