Anxiety is felt regarding the Federal trawler Endeavour, wh'ch is nine days overdue from Macquarie Island, where she landed relief for men of the Mawson expedition. According to Macquarie reports there was a heavy gale a couple of days after her departure. Arrangements have been made to despatch a warship to seaich. Expeitt are hopeful that she has been delayed by a broken shaft or other mishap. Twenty-two persons arc aboard, including Mr Dannevig, Director of Fisheries, Mr Power, wireless operator at Macquarie Island, and Mr Harrison, biologist.
