Sheldon will be accorded «■ public reception at the Alexandra Hall to-morrow at 8 p.m. On Sunday he will address a meeting in tho Colosseum on the subject of prohibition at 8.15 p.m., and will speak on tho same subject at the King's Theatre on Monday at 8 p.m. Tho annual meeting in connection with the Marshland public hall will be held on Monday at 8 p.m. Entries for the 100yds. 220yds and 4-lOvds racss, open to members of the Football Club, and for the M'Miilau Cup, open to Old Boys who left the school live years ago or over, to bo decided at the Boys' High School sports on October 2, close with the handicap001*8, Messrs L. A. Dougall and M. J. Guthrie, to-morrow. Mrs Lee-Cowie will deliver an address on temperance reform at St Paul's Schoolroom, Papanui, at S p.m. to-day.
