! Mr T. A. Fraser and Mr W. Fi-aser, of Dunedin, were among tho last English people to get through to London from Germany, and they made for tho High Commissioner's office, very tired and harassed. Mr Mackenzie supplied them with a meal on the premises, consisting of toa, bread and butter, and boiled eggs, which was the first food they had had for many hours. They -had lost every particle.of baggage, and arrived merely with the clothes they wore. They gave a shocking description of tho treatment they had received in Germany, where no consideration was shown them at all. Their luggage was thrown about, and finally lost, and they were thankful to get through witli their lives. Mr Duncan Cook, of Port Chalmers, met with similar experiences, and stated ho was very , thankful to reach London safely.
