EXETER DISASTER.
FINDING OF THE JURY. DRIVER COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received March 24, 8.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 24. The inquest into the Exeter disaster has concluded. The jury returned a verdict that tho accident was caused by Driver Irwin overrunning the home signal at danger. A rider was added that loop lines should be lengthened to accommodate any train or that a refuge siding should be made at either end. More precaution was necessary in foggy weather. Irwin was committed for triaj on a charge of manslaughter. Bail in the sum of £2OO was allowed.
