BOXING.

CHRISTCHURCH SPORTS CLUB. A committee meeting of the Christchurch Sports Club was held last night. Mr W. J. Moir presiding over a full attendance. Delegates attended from Canterbury College in connection with the in-ter-university tournament, and reDorted that a very large entry had been received. Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin were each sending five members, one for each class, and Christchurch would also be fully represented. Everything promised an exciting and interesting evening's sport on. Easter Monday. The committee interviewed several local amateur and professional boxers who were desirous of obtaining matches during the season. It was decided to hold the annual meeting on the first Tuesday in March.
