The Archbishop of Canterbury replying to the Bishop of Zanzibar's letter says that it does not affect his decision as to the course he proposed to follow, but he gladly notes the Bishop's readiness to. drop the terms " heresy and schism," Dr Tucker, ex-bishop of Uganda, in a letter to the newspapers accuses the Bishop of Uganda of dragging in his name in the letter to the ArehSihop of Canterbury. In his letter tho Bishop of Zanaibar charges Dr Tucker with handing over Anglican converts at Nasa to the care of an undenominational society. Dr Tucker pleads guilty that by his action he acknowledged non-epis-copal churchesi. as branches of the' Church of Christ. He took bis stand with the Bishops of Uganda and Mombasa.
