MASTERTON, February 18. There was delightful weather for "People's Day" at the Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Show. About 15,000 persons were present 'and great interest was manifested. There was a splendid show of fat stock. The champion jumping competition was won by Mr H. Ha-.snll's. Micky Free, .with ivhf J. W. ;,ki'fsiven's Pick •pocket secondhand Mr Ernest Short's Scout third. The consolation jump Free, with Mr J. W. M'Niven's Pick-, pocket, with Mr J. W. Sclby's Clarence second, and Mr B. William's Wildfire third. The prize for tho best hack on the ground was awarded to Mr Ernest Short's Scout.
