In the Legislative Assembly De-puty-chairman Thrower took umbrage at Mr Miller for asking him to speak up and ordered him to withdraw tho remark. Mr Miller claimed that tho request was fair and threatened to report the matter to tho Speaker. He refused to withdraw, and by Mr Thrower's order tho sergeant removed Mr Miller. In the Legislative Assembly tho Government secured tho re-introduction of tho State Ironworks Bill by a narrow majority, two independents supporting tho Government.
