MOTORING.
The annual Hill-ctiiubing Competition of the Canterbury Automobile Association will taice place on Saturday afternoon on tho tiackthorne Road Hill. Special arrangements have been made to* make the starting as correct as possible. An electric lino will be laid up the hill between the start and finish.'* Cars have been very liberally classified and substantial prizes and certificates will be provided for both large and small cars. Entries will close to-morrow evening.
