At Flemington this morning Apple Pie ran a mile in lmm 47$sec, Bobadea half a mile in 53sec, Diabolo half a milo in 52sec, Bolan a mile in lnfin Slsoc, Prizefighter a mile in Irain oOsec, Adagio seven furlongs in lmin 35sec, and Obi and Flavian a mile in lmin 49Jaec. Matouree and Patronius were given steady pacing. At the yearling Bales, a Positano—River Trent colt was sold for 1800 guineas. A positano—Tragedy Queen filly wa3 sold for 1025 guineas.

Tho annual meoting of the Akaroa Racing Club will be held at Little River 10-day. There will be a special train to convey passengers, leaving Christchurch at 10.5 a.m., and returning from Little Rivor at 5.30 p.m. The Victoria Racing Club's meeting will be continued to-day. Tho principal events to be decided arc the Australian Cup and the Ascotvale Stakes.
