Rain showers in the north. Fine for twenty-feur hours in the somTi. Mistand fog on cast coast. Government meteorologist’s summary and forecast:—Anti-cyclonic conditions have continued in the southern districts and a low pressure has persisted in tho north, with unsettled weather and moderato to strong southeasterly winds. The weather has been generally cool and changeable. Present indications are for moderate easterly winds veering to northerly shortly southward of New Plymouth and Napier, variable winds, principally easterly, elsewhere. There will probably be little movement of ihe barometer in tho northern districts, but a fall is duo shortly in the south for a. chango in the weather. Cloudy weather is probable in ihe far north and the southernmost districts, and warmer and haxy weather generally.
