DUVAUCHELLE. There was a very large entry at Duvanclielle on Friday, and the attendance was also good, consequent on the cocksfoot paddocks being now cleared. There was a good demand for store cattle, and business was decidedly brisk, prices being well maintained. Tho proportion of lots being passed in was very small. Fat cattle were not much in evidence. Several lines of good forward steers sold up to £7 17s fid. two-year-old steers to £5 10s, eighteenmonths to £3 ss, fat heifers to £6 ss, springers to £B, and calves to 28s. Some rains were offered, but only a few were sold at prices ranging up to 2Jss.
