The steamer Talune, which arrived from Rarotonga to-day, reports that the schooner Alice, chartered for Sydney by the Cook Island Trading Company, drifted ashore on a reef at Ratahanca Island, in the Cook Group, last month, and was totally wrecked. Tho crew landed safely. Captain Schroeder, of tho Alice, is a passenger by the Talune.
