A special meeting of the Chnstchurcll Prohibition League will be held this evening, when important business wu. be brought forward by the Rev John Dawson, secretary of the Alliance, A concert under the direction-of Mr Sidney Williamson will be given at Sst Andrew's Schoolroom this evening m aid of the choir funds. A number of glees will be sung by choir members and solo items will be contributed by well-known local amateurs. . By an error in an advertisement in yesterday's issue, Mr J- T. Jones, krocer, was announced to be giving coupons equivalent to 50 per cent discount on purchases. The amount should be 5 per cent.
